ls1 Tach setup

I told my tuner to change the tach output to 8 cylinder so it would work with my stock 92 tach. He says he doesnt know what to change. Does anyone have any specific instructions on what has to be changed?

Re: ls1 Tach setup

It should take him 90 seconds to fix the tach

http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/conver...t-correct.html

If something else this simple stumps him, find a new tuner

Re: ls1 Tach setup

Divide the reluctor teeth by the no. of cyls to get the number

24/8 = 3
24/6 = 4
etc

If all else fails go to guess and check

A quick search for "tach half" yielded a whole page of results and suggestions for fixes. So "the guy" over there cant figure it out?

Sounds like your tuner needs to be changed.
