Walbro 255 LPH inline pressure

Do I need to put an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator or will the OE one do the job?

What is your induction? I see it says 4bbl, if so you don't have a regulator.

An adjustable one is good, esp if you have or plan to do any more mods.

Wow, I need to update my stuff. Swapping to lt1. Hence the need for the inline fuel pump.

While we are on the topic, fuel filter before or after pump?

And check valve to prevent draining back into tank?

Re: Walbro 255 LPH inline pressure

Both according to most fule pump makers these days. Course filter before, and a fine filter after.

That way you keep big stuff from damaging the pump without causing it to strain pulling through a fine filter.

Thats why the factory puts a strainer on the pump and a fine filter after.

I don't think a check valve is required.

Re: Walbro 255 LPH inline pressure

I am keeping the original fuel sending unit w/screen in tank. Will that work for the course?

Re: Walbro 255 LPH inline pressure

I used my stock sender and got a 255lph pump. and added a vented gas cap. I did alot of research when I did mine and its a pretty easy process.
