cruise control ls1 swap
I've based my wiring off this:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...driven-tb.html
With a truck module the cruise will engage but not with the 2000 fbody module. I purchased a GM cruise tester, and with that the fbody cruise will set. The tester shows that I have the buttons wired right and indicates the brake switches are wired right.
On the cruise module I have the H and J going to the PCM on pin R13 and R37
and pin K going to the R50 (set to 4000 pulses per mile) -- the tester also shows this is good
pin D goes to the brake switch and the clutch switch both normally closed 12vdc (so clutch & brake up gives 12vdc)
Ping G goes to the brake switch normally open (brake up 0v, brake down 12vdc)
With HP tunners I see that the cruise lockout stays yes.
What inputs does the PCM need so that the cruse lockout goes to no? I've seen a post or two where they say the cruise on switch needs to also go to the PCM as well as the module... however I don't see that in the schematics?
Does the PCM need a reference to the brake switch?
The truck module doesn't use the PCM lockout so that is why it works.
I'm stomped and not getting anywhere in these schematics.
