Thanks! It's a nice paint job on a very original, but somewhat worn 82. I've owned it since 1991. I've been reading your posts about the B4C, they're really neat cars. I was actually at the Texas DPS auction in 1995 when they auctioned them off. It was a big deal, they had like 67 91 and 92 B4Cs, I wasn't able to bid but I looked at all of them. I probably saw your car!

Looks great, Scott! I remember looking at your build sheet soon after you got that car, IIRC it was built about a week before mine (5-4-82) at Van Nuys. Lots of similarities. MM4 82s are getting scarce!

I don't know how I didn't see this thread before. It needs a BUMP!
I'll bump it with my 82 Z28. Just turned 22,000 miles. All original other than tires, alternator, battery, and new stripe kit. TGO's August 2018 Car Of The Month. I have not seen another twin to mine on this board. I don't know if there were never many built this color combo or what. My brother was killed in a twin car to mine in 1989 and it took me until 2018 when I found this car to ever see another one. I now know of 2 other ones that used to exist, but have no idea if they're even still on the road. Neither of the other ones have been seen since the late 80s by either person that used to know of them. This is also a 1 year only maroon interior

Yes! They came with the Hooker super comp catback. I plan to cut the pipes off they attach to and get them more flush with the body. I was more interested in driving it than cosmetics today (only 2nd day I've really had it out on the road after getting a lot of things worked out).

Pulaski, WI, May 30, 2015, the day I drove it home from Green Bay. While clean and 64,000 miles, lesson learned, "[Whenever possible] always buy the minty-est low mileage one you can find."

Re: 1982-1984 Z28's pic thread!!!!!
Thanks for the compliments! My car is pretty much stock except for newer carpet and a headliner. The motor has a hypertech chip and a accel hei upgrade and 3" cat back exhaust. It also has Eibach springs that drop the car 1.5" in the front and 1" in the rear.
I have subframe connectors and a steering box brace to install.....when it gets warmer here in Minnesota!! Then it will powertrain upgrade time and make the 305 h.o. into a 305 H.O. like it should have been in the first place!!

Be careful what you ask for....1980.
68 Chevelle. 400 SBC with a Torker intake, fuelie heads (modified in my college auto machine shop by me) and a Cam Dynamics cam. Built TH400 (also by me). But the 3.08 peg leg rear gear and no converter made it a slug. Unless of course we were rolling from 30 MPH.
I think it was another year or two before I got a haircut.
