1984 z28 70k mile horse farm find?
Commuting to college I needed a gas saver so I bought a 92 v6 bird amd drive it 5 years. Now that school is over and I can afford a better car it's time for a better daily. Hence this 84 z28. I wanted a 5 speed car so this one will do. 70k mile lg4 5 speed hardtop. White and briar brown. It sat on a horse farm for about 2 years and I got it a few months ago in a trade. After trying to get the title straightened out for months or just fixed today.

Hard to believe it only sat two years but that's what the previous owner says. Extremely dirty

Got an initial wash done with nothing but a pressure washer. Still needs more cleaning and a few spots of paint fixed but it'll clean up nice

Thanks. Yes unfortunately the quarter has a decent dent. Getting that fixed along with the spot on the roof where the paint flaked and it'll be good to go

Thanks for all the good words. Here's the rpo codes. Nothing too exciting, the only planned deviation from stock is to swap the rear to a 3:23 posi w/ al. Drums since I have it and an l69 air cleaner. Otherwise staying all stock

Started to work on the car a bit. Checked over the suspension to see what I'll need which is unfortunately everything. Although I wasn't going to change anything appearance wise the car needed tires and I got a great deal on these charcoal cross laces with good tires. The originals will go into storage for now

No notable progress on the car itself but I have been organizing the garage and digging out parts that need to go on the car. The catback on the car now has a few soft spots on it so it won't last much longer. Not the original anyway so I have a borla 2otl that will go on. Also found some nos hardtop and door weatherstripping that will go on the car. Hopefully will start touching the car itself again next week

Re: 1984 z28 70k mile horse farm find?
Time to blow the dust off this thread and give it closure. My truck blew up back in november and i decided to do a 6.0 swap which took up all my time until its completion this week. During that time i picked up a super clean 91z roller then right after an 80 z28. looks like both this car and the 91 will be sold. Might as well try something different to build so the last updates here will be the minor repairs and detailing to get it sold.
