My 92 Z28 - Purple Haze, Heritage package, 30k original miles
This is my 92 Z28 Camaro. It has the heritage package and the limited production purple haze paint color. I've owned it for 17 years now. I bought it when I was 19 years old and it had 19k original miles on it. It currently has 30k miles. The car hasn't been driven in ten years now, it's not how I intended it to be but the ten years went by in the blink of an eye! This winter I'm planning on getting it out of the barn and making it road worthy again. It still has the original tires on it. Besides the basics, such as battery, new fluids, etc, I really want to put air bags on it and new rims and tires for starters. The last time I drove this car was before I had a digital camera, much less a smart phone! These three pictures are the best ones I could find from back in the day. I'm hoping I will find lots of useful info on this forum.

Thank you. I agree that it's probably more valuable as an original car but it doesn't really bother me to do light bolt on mods that can easily be taken off and returned to stock. It has a few light bolt on performance mods that I did 10-12 yrs ago just to make it a little more fun to drive.

Nice car. leave it stock or as near stock as possible. My 91Z28 has 59K on it and has a small list of mods done. I have saved every single oem part so that I can return it back to stock, if need be. Get it running again with some extensive maintenance and enjoy it for what it is.

Well, it's home! It's getting a bath tomorrow and then it's getting towed over to a local shop so it can be thoroughly gone through and resurrected. It's been over 10 years since this car has moved or seen the light of day. 31,124 original miles.
