My new 87 Formula WS6
Hey folks, long time member, having had many Thirdgens over the years, I finally found the one I was looking for...
Now to throw an LS with a T56 and a small cage for some track days!
... And a ton of other work. 130k miles, fairly rust free.

Nice, glad you were able to find a clean one! Is this going to be a gutted track only car? Have you had a chance to make any progress?

Re: My new 87 Formula WS6
I forgot I had posted this... Any ideas you could throw at me in where I'm going wrong, let me know. Just know I'm attempting to keep the first phase of this build under $8,000
Updates - Deleted rear marker lights, sheet metal work is completed and the rough body work is done. Doors are adjusted and in their final place.
I've decided on Emerald Jade Metallic for the finish colour, but will probably run a year of track days with primer and multi-coloured panels as I don't think I'll have enough time and money to finish all of it.
Engine - 2004 LS, 100,000km, the transmission is a T-5 (I knoooow, budget reasons). Rear end is geared 3.55 with a nice tight POSI.
I'm going with an 8 point cage to stiffen the body, and when everything is close to completion, Possibly doing UMI Subframe connectors, and engine bay brace. Definitely going to be using weight jacks in the front springs. It's a nightmare doing research for this, as everyones opinion on racing these differs so extremely. They handle amazing stock considering it's a 30 year old car. Hopefully I can make it for my April 2019 deadline at M1 Concourse open track day event. Will keep posting!
