Re: 2015 Carlisle GM Nationals
What's the parking like there for the GM nationals? I've never been to the fairgrounds for this particular event. I might try for Sunday if the mood strikes me, I'm around an hour away.

Re: 2015 Carlisle GM Nationals
yeah, the IROC Anniversary hopefully will draw out some nice 3rd gens... I tried a few times to get someone to post this under 'gathering boards' earlier in the year, but I guess no one ever did it...might have brought more people/cars out too.

Re: 2015 Carlisle GM Nationals
It was a great weekend. started out at South Mountain Raceway in Boiling Springs for me and a couple of other members of MM. This is one cool old racetrack.
then of course saturday it rained.
it was windy too
i brought home second place in the 82-92 camaro modified class
thirdgens well represented on sunday
we're gonna do it again next year, but this time we will rent one of the larger 20x20 tents.

Re: 2015 Carlisle GM Nationals
It was good to see a lot of familiar faces this year and some new ones. Unfortunately mother nature failed to cooperate with us. Friday was a great day weather wise.. We had to cut the trip short though..

I went, but couldn't take my car, I got loads of parts for it though, I was there 6/27, sadly it rained the whole time but it didn't make me have any less fun, still some great 3rd gents there, I saw an awesome formula 350 there, I love those cars

Re: 2015 Carlisle GM Nationals
Great times. Awesome cars. and awesome people. As we all know.. just sucked that it rained all day Saturday.
I don't want to post a ton of photos here but I'll post a link to the 500ish photos I took during the weekend. Skip ahead a bit if you want.... I started out the album with a few photos I took in the registration parking lot because it was a big 3.5 hour trip for my car and my wife driving the truck
I am only going to SHOW the thirdgen photos since that's the audience here... the rest of the photos can be viewed on the flickr slideshow... I skipped over the junk (cobalts, sonics, etc)
This should be the MAIN link:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/123927...57655296065981
and just a few quick photos:
