Sadly fellas our beloved Porky's has closed. So no thirdgen meet there now. But hey at least the old pig went out in style in a cloud of tire smoke!

You do your own work on your TA? I am looking for people that know their way around a third gen TA. I have an 86 with the lb9 305tpi. Lots of questions. Obviously I have searched this site as well. I live in the Coon Rapids, MN area.

Re: MN, how many here?
Hey guys I'm in farmington it's just about 10 min south of apple valley and rosemount. New to the club but would like to attend a meet to see some nice cars. I have a black 85 Iroc that's a work in progress with only 68k on it. I would like to get some inexpensive performance mods ideas and exhaust ideas what works well on these cars. Mines all stock now but want to build upto 300-350hp range

Re: MN, how many here?
There is a local board www.mngmp.org if you want to find out when people are meeting. There is usually a Thursday meet, but it looks as though it is cancelled this week. Next week I am sure I will be going to a local car show in Shakopee.

I live in Farmington!!! I wonder who else is on here? I see a blue IROC maybe a 88 or so that drives through farmington and has chrome IROC wheels on it. I also see a white IROC off Foliage ave area in Lakeville. Always see it in the driveway but never driving.

Re: MN, how many here?
I've been on the site since I first researched my car, apparently neglected this thread, but I gotta sell it, I held out for a new job since my company closed, I became a DISLOCATED WORKER and now I ran out of savings and the car is at Courtney's Truck Service for sale this past week, you got days to get it if you can, I am hoping someone thinks that $1K asking is not too out of line considering, this has GTA style rims and the Tuned Port Injection engine also is still running well, the transmission is what's failing, the gaskets need attention, due to over-heating basically, Have two I bought since trying Felpro traditional material Call the mech at 952-934-0931, if you are interested in what's what.
If you're in MN, it's better then shipping sight unseen perhaps, but I'm asking $1000 if you can manage it, I paid $8600 back in circa 1997. $800 is as low as I'm personally asking, since my dad would insist I take anything for it, and not be burdened
Rare convertible, pics are here, 1989 350 ASC dealer ordered convertible needs news trans but it still operates, I just can't afford a new transmission or much of anything else, I have $3 in my pocket, so I am dead broke with no work, so help a fellow F car guy out, if you can!

Re: MN, how many here?
Hey all -
A Ramsey resident here. My buddy recently invited me to a Mitsubishi only show and it was great - if you're into that sort of thing. This got me to ask, is there a current MN Third Gen club for MN/WI?. Looks like there was one several years back but it's gone now. Is there still one out there? If not, we need to start one. I think the MN Camaro club is probably great but there's something about a parking lot full of thirdgens that would awesome to have locally....

Re: MN, how many here?
There was a website years ago, but I think it's been since deactivated. If no one identifies an active Minnesota Thirdgen site, I will gladly create a Facebook group site to help organize future Thirdgen events.

Re: MN, how many here?
I'm thinking it's too late in the season for a Minnesota gathering, but look forward to something in 2017. Just a simple gathering in a parking lot at a park. I have the Facebook site up so be sure to join the group as the time gets closer. Maybe we'll even do a drive! There's one on Youtube from California where something like 15-20 thirdgens were all driving together - a wonderful site!

Re: MN, how many here?
I know this thread is old lol but thought I'd join in too! I'm on the iron range north of Grand Rapids, MN. I have a 91' rs that I've owned for 13 years. I was 16 when I traded a broken snowmobile for it. Everything was pretty mint on the car other than the front end was smashed from an accident. I found new/used parts for it and had my dads friend who did body work paint the front bumper and both fenders. Ever since I've owned it I've been modifying it. Thus may I'll be getting her repainted! Anyway that's a lil info on my car. Thanks!
