End of project sell-off

Peoria, IL

Everything I didn't use or don't want from my 1989 Firebird project. This is a desert car so most things are rust free. Some will cost you, some is free if you just come get it. No shipping. There is a large box of 2.8L stuff that I haven't gone through yet so I will add that stuff as I clean and organize the garage.

$100. Bilstein "yellow" front struts. Many years old but only about 1000 miles. No leaks, excellent condition.

$100. AC delete with fan and resistor board. Aftermarket fiberglass.

$10. New LS1 PCM mounting tray from GM dealership.

$5. Moroso extra long transmission housing dowel pins. New in box.

$40. Brand new upholstered sail panels (cover for rear speakers). Light grey color.

$50. LS3 valve covers. Nice surface finish, very little oxidation, but some of the threads are stripped where the coil studs mount. You'll want to oversize and tap the holes.

$30. New in box coolant reservoir, 88-92 style (purchased from Ecklers). I had trouble getting the cap to screw on this one because hole is a bit large.

Re: End of project sell-off

$250. Hooker crossmember. New. Has some paint chips from fit up & handling at a speed shop.

$80. Hawks T56 trans crossmember. Used for less than 1500 miles.

$20. Brand new HVAC selector switch. New from GM dealership.

$15. Another new HVAC selector switch from Autozone. Same style as above.

$20. Cal-Van 163 double flare tool kit. Never used.

$10 each, or make offer if you buy the whole lot. LQ4 6.0L LSx truck coils (7 pieces).

Re: End of project sell-off

DynoDave, did you look at your original switch and make sure it looks the same? I had a heck of a time finding the right switch for my '89, which is why I have extras. Everybody is carrying the wrong part. Never did find a new switch and had to go to the junkyard.

As far as I can tell, the switches below are for early 3rd gens, not the later 3rd gens. The fan will never shut off if you install in my '89.

Re: End of project sell-off

Replied to everyone.

Wirewrestler, I can't guarantee the alternator works, that is why I am not taking money. It worked when I pulled it off my car 16 years ago and it was probably only a year old at that time. Usually grease separates after sitting a few years so the bearings may not have quality grease in them. In other words, the alternator might work and then the bearings fail on you after a few months. Worst case scenario is you get a really clean core for free that you could have rebuilt by a competent shop.

** Don't have picture right now. They are in back of car at speed shop at the moment. **

$12 each. Various U-joints. From left to right,
* Precision 348. (1310 to 1350 conversion)
* Spicer, stamped with numbers F1 and U71. (unknown, appears to be 1330 to 1350 (?) conversion)
* Appears to be the same as the Spicer.

$ Free. The original master cylinder from my 1989 Firebird. Probably worked just fine, I replaced it only for good measure.

$50. LS3 valve covers. Nice surface finish, very little oxidation, but some of the threads are stripped where the coil studs mount. You'll want to oversize and tap the holes.
Is the master cylinder available still? would you ship? I would obviously pay for it. Thank you in advance for your time and help

Re: End of project sell-off

Just so people know, the front bearing on the torque arm just screws in to the end of the rod. It is a normal service part and couldn't be easier to replace. Only reason I'm not asking twice as much money for torque arm is because I don't know the brand. You can replace the bearing with whatever style you want - poly, spherical, Del-sphere... whatever.

First person to recognize this is going to get the deal of a lifetime on an adjustable torque arm!

Added a couple LSx swap trans crossmembers.

These are the only double hump cross-members on the market and both are for sale here. Hooker has a torque arm mount. Hawks does not have a torque arm mount but offers more space for exhaust.

See Post #2 for pictures and info.
