I have it on the family calendar. I would sure like to go this year. My cars a driver, not a show car, but it still seems like an event I'd enjoy, especially with this being the 50th anniv. of the T/A!

The car doesn't have to be a show car, just a 'bird. Any and all 'birds are welcomed there, and ALL are respected and admired. It's the experience and the chance to meet new friends, and old. And be around like minded cool folks. Always such a great time!

The numbers peaked years ago at almost 600, but with time..... last year was almost 380ish. I'dd love to see it rise to 500 again. I mean GTO shows get numbers, and Buick Grand National nationals get good numbers, and when you figured the years Firebirds were made and total numbers, there is no reason 500 is unreasonable. Just gotta get the word out and get the people out. Just like kevin costner said, 'if you build it, they will come'. Lol get that word out!!

A couple weeks b4 the Nats is the BIG Pontiac show in Norwalk OH. Pretty cool setup there as well.

Norwalk is much further North. I appreciate the info but probably out of my range for a show. Dayton is feasible

It's about 250 miles for us. I'm hoping this is the year...I was just reviewing this with the family event coordinator (AKA wife) to see if we can work it into our already busy summer agenda.

You have an obvious huge love of your car Dave, you will love the show, and will be exhausted from just talking non stop to so so many great people. Tipp City Saturday night is a wonderful highlight of the show.
Registration on the site is now open, and hotels are taking reservations. Book so you get a room.
Btw Dave, sorry about your dad.

I think if I am willing to drive 600 miles to get proper seats for the car then its not unreasonable to drive 60 miles to go to a show
