For sale--Actron Scanner
Hey guys,
I'm selling this Actron scanner with an 1984-1995 GM cartridge. You can scan all GM vehicles from that time frame with the exception of Saturn and some Cadillac vehicles. Great tool for diagnosing computer and electrical problems and for those who like to custom tune their computers.
The reason I'm selling this tool is because I've own an 02 Z28 since mid-02. I got rid of my old GTA back in 2000.
The scanner was used a handful of times and is in excellent condition. It is powered by the cigarette lighter/power source in your vehicle. I paid over $400 ($299 scanner/$100+ cartridge) for this tool.
It's yours for $100!

i may be...is it a diagnosis scanner or a power programmer for those years, i do not beleive they are programmable, except with a PROM?

What parameters will it display? Is it like a factory type scantool?

It is a diagnosis scanner. It is not a "Flash-Programmer" such as those sold for newer cars like mine.

The scanner is model number CP9110 and the cartridge is CP9111 (GM 84-95). As for parameters, it depends on your ECM.....it will display EVERYTHING the ECM pumps out! Some parameters I "remember" are MAF gm/sec readings, knock retard, timing and water temperature among others. It would tell you the codes too, of course!
Factory type?....not sure, but it kind of looks like some Snap-On scanners that I've seen. I don't know if there are any OBD II cartridges. I do remember you could buy Ford and I think Chrysler cartriges for use with the same scanner though.
