Edgewater Motorsports Park - Cleves Oh. (near Cincinnati)
Tri-State Dragway - Hamilton (near Cincinnati)
National Trails - Near Columbus
Those are the only ones that I know of in the southern half of Ohio.

Hey, how's everybody doing. I'm freezing my a** off in Mansfield, dreaming of spring when i can get my Camaro out. I'm looking for an Iroc hood if anybody in the area has one.

Re: Ohio?
Thanks for the fast reply, but a guy local just sold me his hood. Now I'm looking for a spoiler off a 91 or 92 Iroc. A guy in Mount Vernon had one on Graigslist but hasn't returned my text for a couple of days.

Re: Ohio?
I haven't found anybody to buy just the engine yet. I'll let you know if something changes.
However I do have my lq4 and 4l60e sitting in my garage. Need the old stuff gone so I can get started on the new stuff. Really hoping I won't have to run the old crap until next year.

If nobody buys my setup by mid-end of march, i'm probably just going to part it out. If anybody is local and interested in anything, i'll give you guys first dibs.

Re: Ohio?
I'm located in Ravenna, ohio. The Y pipe is for use with the 2210 long tube headers that have 3 inch collectors. It's also not designed to be used with a cat converter. It's all 3 inch tubing, that was cut and welded together. The bends are mandrel. It also has an o2 bung welded into it, I didn't want the bung put into the headers with the jet hot coating on them.

Re: Ohio?
I'm getting ready to offload my current setup and get ready to put together my new setup. Hopefully i'll be up and running around may. I'm putting together an lq4 ls motor with the heads i posted, and a cc 54-444-11. I might get rid of the cam for something more boost friendly though. Might also be adding an sts rear mount turbo kit, and running 5-6 psi with that. Not sure if i'm going to try and get the turbo on this year, or hold off until next year and just run it on motor for now.

Re: Ohio?
The new set up uses the top end, heads and up off a gen 3 60 degree V6. Mines off a 2002 impala. The major pros of the set up are the much better flowing aluminum heads, better flowing intakes, and DIS ignition. Called a hybrid because its mixing the older gen1 short block with the newer gen 3 top end.
Also Im making tube forward facing headers. Which are going to be alot better then the log type style I had before. I have the passanger one done already and am going to be working on the drivers side shortly once I get some other things done first on the engine.

Looks really good! So much room to work under the hood of that setup. Do you frequent Norwalk, err, SREMP, most often?

Re: Ohio?
Just dropping by to post a quick hello. Figured there would be an Ohio thread somewhere in here.
Also, this is my first post since joining this board back in...2003. That's got to be some kind of record.
Have always been eyeing these boards since I got an 88 Formula back in the day. She sits, waiting patiently for me to do something with her as she sits in storage.

Man is this place dead. Figured by now people would be getting back into their cars. Sold my tranny, I now have some money to start putting the new motor together.
2500 for all of the rest of my stuff... motor, harness, ecm, headers.

Look at it today, warm and sunny. Still trying to sell all of my thirdgen tpi stuff. Started cleaning up my new motor yesterday, only to find a mark on the #7 cylinder wall. Hopefully it will clean up with a ball hone, if not i'm done until next year.

It turns out they are on my side, at least today anyways. A buddy of mine works at an engine shop over in akron, he stopped over and looked at it. He made the mark disappear in no time. I'm picking up the head gaskets, head bolts, timing chain, and lifters this week.

Brought this home yesterday. The turbo is probably too small for what i'm going to do, but it might work. The whole kit is basically complete except for a BOV.

I went to summit this morning and picked up more parts. Brought home ls9 head gaskets, trickflow chromoly pushrods, taylor wires, ngk plugs, and a big bottle of arp assembly lube.
The new ls7 lifters and arp head bolts are on their way to my house in the mail. Looks like the new motor is going back together next weekend.

P.S. Sorry CashMunson. I've been quiet about my updates because I've been talking about getting my car out for almost 9 years. I think people are losing faith in me, and I don't want to see them disappointed again when I have to go through another winter using someone else's car, hearing "What happened to the camero" (Not misspelled, this is how everyone pronounces it these days) So, until it's plated and insured, no progress. ;D

Sounding like me. Finally getting my car out after nearly 9 years. The finishing touches are being done to get the car road worthy. I'm expecting end of this week or next. I'm hoping the work needed done doesn't bleed into May too much. Expect to see a fellow TGO Member in your area.

I think people are losing faith in me, and I don't want to see them disappointed again when I have to go through another winter using someone else's car, hearing "What happened to the camero" (Not misspelled, this is how everyone pronounces it these days) So, until it's plated and insured, no progress. ;D
P.S. Sorry CashMunson. I've been quiet about my updates because I've been talking about getting my car out for almost 9 years. I think people are losing faith in me, and I don't want to see them disappointed again when I have to go through another winter using someone else's car, hearing "What happened to the camero" (Not misspelled, this is how everyone pronounces it these days) So, until it's plated and insured, no progress. ;D

Re: Ohio?
Haha, thanks. You're the first I've come across to use it in the same way. Hoping to register them soon. Hopefully nobody will take them, considering every year they've been available...since I've joined TGO Hoping for a fair amount of work to be done on the car next week. Updates soon.
