Congrats Terrell!

I saw that one on CL and it looks just like the old 87 we used to have. Nice price!

Was it in a wreck? What's with the primer panels?

Does the information center work properly? How about the Pontiac OK thing above it? Those worked when they wanted to on the old 87 GTA and other than that the digi dash was pretty sweet!

Please steal that wing from Eric.

Im not a fan of the digi dash either. the "information" center thing kinda works.

last I heard eric sold the wing, but I kinda like it with out it

Hey bro if you like it that way I mean it's your car.

But the aero wing MAKES the GTA!!!

Just imagine Del-i sandwiche's car sans wing, I mean sure he sat on it and all, but it would look weird.

I know what your saying but some cars look ok with out the wing and some need it. as of right now I don't think it needs it. down the line as I add my touch to it if that changes then I'll add a wing.

Some inspiration for you, the ol' GTA was even the same color!

Too bad the new owner who was all jazzed about it, sold it soon thereafter because he got peer pressured into being a Rustang f@g like all his buddies.

Should have kept it but at the time I had like 5 cars @ my place

With a 5spd swap and 4th gen interior it would have been sweet.

I don't know about the power. I haven't got on it due to it needing a torque arm mount, but I'll let you know

I snapped my torque arm mount off doing a burnout and drove it all the way home "getting on it"

What're a few dents on the trans tunnel?

Open that bad boy up!

It wont go to the track for a while. there's a couple thing I wanna do first.

ditch the crappy autolite platinum's for some AC's
ES torque arm mount- on the way
ES trans mount- I have
trans cooler(car has a stall)- I have
fuel filter- I have
oil change w/ filter
trans fluid change w/ filter
check brakes- they fill kinda funny

you know just stuff you do when you buy a used car

Nice to see another 'bird. Hope it treats you well.
I had an '88 Gunmetal GTA w/ digidash for a short time before my current one.
Looks like it's at Bennie's shop already, haha.
You going to sell the Nissan and focus on the IROC still?

yup the POSzx needs to go, and most likely the money will be spent on a T56 for the Iroc. I don't have many mods planned for the GTA.

its at bennies now, hes doing the mounts and cooler. I need another jack that will fit under the car.

Oh yeah, how many miles are on it? Any other cool rpo codes?
I don't read CL for cars obviously, never seen it.
I've got a full container of Redline diff. fluid I was going to give to Will if you want to change that too.

Redline is equivalent to Royal Purple I'd say.
Changed mine last summer, have an extra full quart, has the posi additive already.
I put Redline in my rear diff. and occasionally the water wetter in the radiator.

update.......kinda

well the T/A is home for the time being. tranny cooler, ES torque arm mount, ES tranny mount, steering brace(off my Iroc), and fuel filter have been added/changed. I have some AC plugs to replace the autochrap's. new tires are in my livingroom. Im just waiting on the lugs I ordered today from jegs, should get here on wednesday. next week im gonna get an MSD cap/rotor kit from work and a lakewood adjustable panhard rod($75 with my discount ). I also ordered some LCA relocation brackets yesterday. thats gonna be it for this check, my next one will handle the fluids and custom CAI.

I still haven't really got on it but I can tell its not faster than my Iroc was when it was running good. but I think the TPS is bad Im gonna check it again and readjust it and see where im at.

Vin: you'll be glade to know Im thinking about getting a spoiler for it. it looks like its missing something at some angles, like this one

I drove it to work today. feels good to have a little power under my foot and able to see at night

Why are you putting $ into suspension items for it?
I thought it was just a DD, put the $/parts into the IROC!

I've never been a fan of third gen Firebirds without a rear spoiler, on Camaros its okay but not on Firebirds. Overall pretty nice, I've never seen a digital dash before on a Firebird looks sweet.

Im just doing things you should do when you lower a car everything else is just things I do when I buy a used car.

don't worry the Iroc will get done. I just stop spending money on it kinda for the time being I need to get rid of some stuff and install some things before I buy more stuff. theres no more room in my living room, ask travis

Better to have a reliable daily driver right?
I would also stick a wing on it, I don't like seeing birds with there wings clipped. They do look wierd at certain angles without'em though.I noticed a big difference in response and power when I adjusted my tps on mine.

Maintenance stuff of course, not sure how a Lakewood panhard bar is necessary though.

an adjustable panhard will center the rear end. you need/should have one if the car is lowered
