HEY EVERYONE IM MARK FROM FRESNO, I HAVE HAD A FEW THIRDGEN MEETS AT WOODWARD PARK HERE IN FRESNO CA, IT STARTED WITH JUST SOME FRIENDS AND THE COUPLE FOLLOWING YEARS I HAD GOOTEN A FEW OTHERS FROM A HOUR RADIUS AND NOW THAT IM A MEMEBER I THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE THE MEET AND GET MORE TO COME OUT. I DO HAVE ABOUT 30-50 CONTACTS THR ARE THIRDGEN OWNERS AND I WILL LET EVERYONE I KNOW TO MAKE IT. AS FOR THE DETAILS:
WOODWARD PARK FRESNO CA (google it for directions) WILL BE SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 29TH 2012, AT 3:30PM TILL HOW EVER LATE YOU DECIDE TO STAY OUT, WE NORMALLY DO A CRUISE DOWN BLACKSTONE (our main cruise strip) AT AROUND 9:00pm THE PARK HAS A $5. PER CAR FEE, BRING SOME FOOD AND DRINKS,THERE ARE A FEW BBQ PITS THERE AT TE PARK(still might wanna bring your own) THERE MIGHT ALSO BE A DJ THERE (complementary from a friends friend) IF ANYONE HAS ANY QUESTIONS FEEL FREE TO ASK I WILL LOVE TO HELP IN ANY WAY I CAN. LETS PLAN ON 30 OR MORE THIRDGENS AT THIS WOODWARD PARK GETTOGETHER!

So I am in. I think I will organize a little cruise down the boring 99 south to fresno from Manteca area. I'd rather see a little bit earlier start time Mark but if 3:30 it is. Then that is what it is!

Hopefully with all of your contacts. And a few people but from up here that will hopefully go. We can have a nice GTG with around 30 cars or more.

Last time the bruiser seen santa cruise was a disaster I'm gettin rid of the walbro pump getting an acdelco and sending unit so I kno how much gas I got in the mail tomorrow hopefully solves my problem I really hope its from that fuel gettin too hot

Drinks in the park are OK! and 330 I figured some would come early and would wanna take off early if it wasn't going on big right off the bat, so I figured this wasn't too early for people to get bored with waiting on everyone to get there.

Yeah deffinately going to make a day out of it. Head out from Manteca around 12:30 PM probably. Stop in Merced for rest and stretch then to Fresno. I am down to check out the street races and cruise the strip. check out some strip clubs. I am game. Still quite a few months away though! damn!

I thought this would give plenty of time to get things going for guys (or girls) to make there cars road worthy or any loose ends, and plenty of time to get time off from work . I've all excuses so didn't wanna hear any this time and if anyone wants to meet up earlier I'm cool with that, can meet up at my house I'm only 15 mins away from the park. That is if the Manteca crew wants to come down sooner

I'm from Visalia, CA. It's like 30 mins away from Fresno. I've owned two third gens in less than a year. The iroc in my avatar pic is not the iroc I would be bringing to the show. My neighbor totatlled my first iroc the red one while I was at school. It was parked in front of ny house. I am a college student. I now have a white iroc same car same engine same everything just white. Supposively has 53xxx original miles on her. And ya its still far away but I want to go to one. And this one is gonna be really close to me.

Alright I am bumping this thread up. This is not my event but Mark Wright would love a ton of thirdgen's out here. Hanging out, cruising, checking out street races sounds like a fun night. I know Camaro generations car show is the next morning and all but I will be at both so you can be too!

Hey Mark,

its been a long time... Its Manuel.. the guy with the maroon camaro...We drove to the bay to look at the one Camaro...hahah well I can only guess its the same Mark.. but yeah man.. I got another 2.8 R.S... had a swap done and a stout 355 motor thrown in but it blew. Now ive got another lined up a 360 with 420est rwhp =) ALMOST ready to put in for the rainy season you should roll through and check out my current set up... the isky z-35 was a tiny cam to what ive selected to throw in now, I love causing all kinds of rachet with my 3800 stall hahah I cant wait though... I cant remember your number if its you.. pm me your contact info

ps... I missed the meet by a few days... damn I wish I had logged into this site a week earlier... previous before that it was back in 2008 since my last visit.. haha
