This trip is getting closer we have a date locked in for Sat May 21rst. We need to decide if we want to camp or get a hotel room. We will be staying the night in Oakurst either at the koa or Best Western on wat everyone decides on. We will cruise thru the back side of the park for the Saturday and return back to Oakurst at the end of the day. Sunday we will be heading home if anyone else has plans after that that will be on them.
Hey timbo! Im fine either way..camping or hotel. I haven't been to Yosemite since I was 10 years old so I don't remember a thing about it. I am hoping others chime in on what they prefer because I am just gonna go with the flow
I have talked with other members here and looked into pricing of camping and some hotel rooms and looks to be pretty expensive... So instead of doing an over night camp trip we will be doing a long day trip to Yosemite Valley Sat May 21 have lunch there and head home when we are all ready.
This cruise will start early so can get the most in while we are there. Our main meeting spot will be at the Grocery Outlet parking lot in Manteca the address is 1391 E Yosemite Ave, Manteca, Ca 95336. We will meet here 9-930am and leave by 945am so please plan accordingly and be on time so we can avoid the
Our route is simple we will be taking 120 all the way there and is roughly a 2hr trip.
I'm planning on making it a picnic style lunch there I have never been there before so just going to load up an ice chest and make the most out of it. We can figure out dinner plans on the way back what everyone is in the mood for an how they feel. Cant wait to see everyone for this cruise and make it happen should make for a fun day.
