Ok so I really hate depending on other ppl..
..when it comes to my car. We worked our butts off to get my camaro ready for paint and the painter said we should have the car back by the 1st of the month so there would be about a month to get everything put back together by thirdgenfest....WELL..after playing phone tag with the d*ck that is painting the car for the past two weeks...he finally said that he had the test panel ready for us to see (to make sure the color is right) and said he would drop it by the house 3days ago...still havent seen it...still havent talked to him...and i am REALLY P'd OFF. There is no way that my car will be painted and back to me any time soon if he hasnt even got the ok on the color yet....man its so nice to work your *** off for something just so someone else can FK it all up...ok i am done B*tchin...but i am just so mad!

That sucks. Nikki's_92TA... If i did not have to get kevs and steves done. I could give u a hand.. My biggest hang up is this dam weather. Thats Y I can't wait to get are shop. We will have a nice booth.. Not going to be doing any ins work. Just welding, paint jobs (at good prices) and body work.

Well Nikki it's better to be pissed-off than pissed on, 
He had to spray a test panel. Doesn't the car have a color code so he could mix off of that? I found this out when I got an estimate on repainting my driver-side mirror. They said they would just need that code, so I didn't have to leave the whole car.

she's probably going for a custom mix. me on the other hand i'm going for any GM code that gets me a medium blue metallic, so i'm not waiting for a test code at all. ahhhhh no more black swirls to worry about.

Just be happy your car is nice enough for paint. I have four cars now and numerous engine's. But only money to paint one. It doesn't help that I found another to buy last sunday night. 88 IROC CONVERTIBLE. Does anyone need another project?!?!?
