new to area
i'm new around here, and was just looking for any cool places to hang out on a saturday night. i've got a 78 Z28 (i know it's not a 3rd gen) but this looks like the best site i've found. i'm in Lowell, and was thinking about going to the blue top tomorrow, if there is a better spot let me know please.

Welcome!
I wouldnt bother with Blue Top, last time i was there you HAD to purchase a minimuim amount of food just to park under the canopy. As was mentioned earlier, i also go to O'Hara's on 45th, and Indy/rt 41.

Welcome a/fool!
First Saturday of each month from May to September in Lowell...Come hang out with us on Mill street at the corner of Commercial. They close the (freshly paved) street down and line the cars up and down like a car show. Plenty of BS'ing, bench racing, etc. Maybe 15-20 cars normally (small street). classics, muscle cars, and some "heavy hitters" as well.
We had our last show at the beginning of this month, but we'll start back up in the Spring!
You're welcome to stop by the bakery there and read some car magazines and have a coffee and donut, too anytime if you want-ahem-ahem!
sorry, had to put that plug in there.
