ThirdGen Beach Bash?

Was wondering if anyone would be interested in a little beach bash?

Was thinking about Indiana Dunes.

If we were smart and coordinated all this I figure we could end up with a grill and a volley ball net as well.

I know there is some construction on the expressway out that way, but I would be willing to have everyone meet at my house and then we could cruise 30 to 49 north and bypass all of that if people were interested.

Like shoot for Sunday August 16?

Is there interest?

We would get to cruise our cars, cook out , get some volleyball in and have sand and water to play in as well.

Put it up if your interested and we will work out the finer details

Re: ThirdGen Beach Bash?

We should take 20/12 Red Arrow Hwy that is a nice cruise.

Re: ThirdGen Beach Bash?

Problem is u end up going thru not so nice parts of town and steel mills when u take it thru Indiana and continue east.

Thats why I suggested, meet up at my house and then roll down 30 to 49 north.

It doesnt matter to me, but that is why I didnt suggest that route lol

Re: ThirdGen Beach Bash?

I was refering to the Michagan Dunes, I should have stated that eariler. Its a nicer drive and the warren Dunes in general are nicer.

Re: ThirdGen Beach Bash?

Run up 51 through Hobart, over to county line road then north to 12. That'll be Portage with much less chance of gunfire from there east to the dunes. Mt. Baldy over by Mich City is pretty cool.

Re: ThirdGen Beach Bash?

lol

So we cant agree on a time, date or location

Mt. Baldy is super duty hoofing it to the beach if we want to drag some volleyball gear or a grill down there.

West Beach is good for it on non holiday weekends.

Im not opposed to something just over the border in MI either.

Just thinking friendly for taking some gear with us.
