For the longest time a 4th gen axle made a good deal. Newer than any used 3rd gen. And it was a direct swap for the most part. Even though it was wider.

traded my 5.3 for something a little more built up. 98% factory GM parts, no lumpy cam, yet 450+ RW ponies

guys i need a tpi wiring harness to give to my buddy in exchange for his already thirdgen ready harness. dont want to pull my car apart yet to give him mine

I sold my entire TPI setup ages ago. I only have scraps left.
