Awsome I would love to see a 9.0- 9.39 @ 150MPH pass with my combination going 126 on motor. That would be hitting with the 250 pills.

Re: Post Your 60ft with Suspension Setup

haha, same here man. I've been 1.41 60' above on the stock rear as well but not close with the turbo motor. Your car on a 250 hit would seriously stress that rear but if you progressive hit it or spray top of first gear, it should hold You'd still have me

Re: Post Your 60ft with Suspension Setup

I think the rear is smoked after the last track outing(12/09). I just put it on the trailer and wrote it off. Now I'm back together after the new 10 point cage install and will have it out on Saturday. If it's not broken and still ticking I bought the 100HP pills to set up for 10.0 index. Hopefully it will stay together with that tune but I doubt it. Would suck to get all the way out in your area for the big grudge match () to find out it was maxed out 100HP ago .

Yep dont want to find out something like that. I will need to figure out a way to make boost off the line without a transbrake if i'm going to have a chance on anything over a 100 pill

Not a drag racer, just a once a month special event racer. I have a modded 1991 L98 with Edelbrock LCA and Panhard Bar with 3:73 and Goodyear CS-C tires. My 60' times are around 2.10, but I just had a set of ALSTON SFC welded in. My question is will the SFC help at all with my launch?

I managed a couple of 1.29's but normally it's in the low 1.3 range. Depends a lot on track prep.

I'm in the left lane. You can see more here.

Ths transition of a lowly Suburban motor to a high 11's street pounder for around $3000
Setup is Spohn performance torque arm and tranny crossmember with driveshaft loop. Hotchkiss boxed lower control arms and a Moser 12 bolt with a 4:11 gear. Need frame connectors but weld in only.

Here's a short movie my son made. He couldn't get the camera to work right on the first pass and I had .5007 light.

Re: Post Your 60ft with Suspension Setup

Guess i will throw mine in:

Slipping the clutch at 6000, 1.78 60

Spohn TA, BMOR non adj LCAs, BMR panhard, stock RS springs, stock replacement shocks and struts, WS6 swaybar still connected, CE welded in sub frames on a 26x11.5x16 ET street on stock 91-92 Camaro wheels.

New 60 to be determined with no front sway bar, more weight reduction, carb that will not stumble off the launch, jetting up the carb.

1.28 with a 4200 stall, all stock suspension. The front tire only lifts an inch or less. The car weight was 1900 front, 1550 rear. Th weight bias has changed for this year. Once the car is back together I'll post the front to rear ratio.

stock style. I would not risk my car's life attempting that. But maybe true "stock suspension" will be a new class in the future. Where the only upgrades are new rubber bushings to replace the old rotted ones and poly is outlawed. I did run 1.53 on the stock suspension with stock torque arm on the transmisison years ago. Not sure if that is something worthy of mentioning.
