records page
So after watching a few racing videos, I always see guys with these oddly specific records. Such as, fastest stick shift corvette, fastest half mile supra in US ect.. I know that our cars have been around a while so it would be difficult to know what bills neighbors uncle ran back in 95, but is there an existing thread already or any interest in starting one? I have tried to search some things for stick shift cars but have only found a couple here and there. I would be thinking more like a single thread that would cover all with updates and such. I cant be the only one wondering who has the fastest street car.. ect. Is this something that's doable?

This would be a neat thread. So you are saying basically cover any thirdgen records... see the thing is though you'd have to have slip submission. Or videos too so that it can be backed up, or a dyno. If not it may become a BS thread...
For example. I believe I had the fastest 3.1l gen1 iron head thirdgen camaro V6. It was turboed, gt35. I made many passes and have multiple slips to back it up. Best of a 12.88@104mph. But i know someone may say they went faster...but without proof, then they cant submit it. A sticky of sorts would work well where a moderator could edit and make sure there are facts of proof.
But keep in mind that not everyone is on thirdgen.org so just because someone may have had a record on here, doesn't mean joe whoever out in BFE didn't go faster.

Re: records page
right. I was thinking something along the lines of how ls1tech does their 10sec club thread, where they do have to post proof and then update the initial list. I do understand it would be an unofficial record. Specially seeing as how widespread these cars are and how long they have been out. But it would still be cool to see where people are and how far some guys have pushed certain setups, like your V6.

Good idea. Created a thread here,
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/orga...92-f-body.html
I can update for a while or mods can take over. I'm willing to do it for a little while to get things established.
