1987 Firebird for sale
This is my first car, I have had it for a little less than a year now. I love it to death but due to having to go to school full time and not being able to work as much I may have to part with it. I am asking 2200. It would suck to have to sell it but I have to pay for college and get a more gas reliable car.
The front end is a '92 bumper because when we first got the car the front driver side fender was smashed in about 6-8 inches. So my dad's friend helped us bend it back out and instead of trying to match the paint job, we decided to paint the front to make it look like a bra.
We have nearly rebuilt the transmission that was in it. We replaced the torque converter, all the seals and all that great stuff. The transmission doesn't leak at all anymore.
Its a 2.8L V6 engine. I just recently replaced the alternator and battery because it all went out on me. There maybe a problem with the fuel pump because it takes one or two turn of the key to get it started but this car has never not started on me.
The interior is great except the headliner that is droopy, which is an easy fix.

Where are you located? As an aside, you might try replacing the fuel pump relay. That can cause extended cold cranking. They're cheap and easy and it would make the car a bit easier to sell.
