Any Supercharger kits or Turbo kits for an 87 LG4

I was just wondering if there are any kits for turbo or superchargers for a 87 LG4 Firebird? If anybody got one custom made by a speedshop how much did that cost and how much to install.

If I got that supercharger would it fit my Edelbrock 600cfm Electric choke Carb. I would have to toss my intake manifold and what else? Would hood clearance be an issue?

Yup comes with a new intake manifold, no it isnt likely to fit under your stock hood at all, yes your carb should bolt to it just fine.

vortech and ati both make blow-through carb setups with their centrifugal superchargers. alittle more expensive, but a whole lot cooler. and hood clearance would probably not be an issue.

For a blower I'd look into the Weiand 142 roots blowers.

I have been told you can get a TT kit from Banks for a carb motor & it can be adapted to a TBI setup without much modification. My bro-in law said there are a few still avail for our cars.

If you find one expect to pay alot of $$$ for it. It would probably be less exspensive to send the car to Guido to do a custom TT setup....

That summit weiand one sounds pretty good though I would have to get a new hood. I was just looking for future mods I might consider.
