A quick RAM - AIR question.
I had a strange idea. I was thinking about knocking out my fog lights on my '87 T/A and using the holes as RAM AIR. Would this work? One foglight is already busted so I might as well get rid of the other. Could I just route a hose into the air filter box?

thats what I did!
I used some alum heater vent ducting and fabbed up a box and funnel type thing that mounts flush against the pass. side fog light molding. then routed 4 inch flexible aluminum dryer tubing from the back of this funnel up through the fender hole next to the charcoal evap canister. then I had to twist the airbox around so the intake tube was facing the fender hole BEHIND the evap canister which is now unbolted from its mounts to allow the 4 inch hose to mate with the air box tube.
lastly just plugged up the drain hole in the airbox and made everything air tight.
I plan to have comprehensive pics of this on my website and maybe send them to this site for their tech since i couldent find instructions for a ram air that used the T/A foglight molding.
email me if you have quest.
see-- no pass side fog light.
