Inline pump still not working.....

So now im really confused, so im going to break it down, my inline pump wont come on with the car turned to the on position (not running) i replaced the relay, but that didnt help, the pump does work, i checked with the power wire and a good ground. The pump is wired correctly, but i still cant get it to come on, im thourghly confused, i tested for 12 volts at the relay, and it was fine, good ground, good fuse, but it just wont come on on the start position like it used to. The relay is T'd into the grey wire at the pump connector near the tank, i can hear my in tank pump come on but no inline any ideas whats going on here ?

Thanks !

Either the pump is defective or worn out if it does have power and ground like you said it did.

Pull the connector off of the relay and install a jumper wire there or have some one in the car flipping the key on. Tap on the inline pump gently with a wood block. This will check if it is hung up mechanically or electrically.

If it is junk then you would probably be better off replacing the tank pump with something that fits your application and removing the inline pump. You have an extensive list of mods and the inline is just a failure point.

there is a wiring problem somewhere, the relay should have a ground to chassis, a 12V from battery, the 12v to the pump, and the switched 12v grey wire from stock pump

I was about to ask if you checked the wire at the pump itself.

yea the pump works, like i said i touched the power wire to it with a good gound and it turned over fine, ive triple checked the wiring connectors and there good, something dosnt make sense..... If i cant figure it out i may just wire the pump to a switch. The intank is a 255lph unit, but id rather not have it pump through the dead inline on it's way to the motor, i hear thats pretty hard on it....... And id rather not pull a perfectly good working inline pump, id rather have more gas than not enough on a boosted app.

Have you checked the power at the pump itself with everything connected and the power on? Verifying power to the relay proves the power is good up to the relay but will not prove anything about the pump. Divide and conquer baby! Check the power at the pump itself and if there is no power then you'll need to troubleshoot between the relay and the pump itself.
