Help with nos setup
Guys, I would like to get some assistance on my 5176 nitrous kit installation (125 shot with 80 psi booster fuel pump). I have everything mounted and wired. My components are a 5.7 liter vortech engine with a Holley stealth intake, stock throttle body, stock computer and Bosch injectors from a Chrysler. The injectors are 238cc/22.6 lbs per hour and good for 325 horsepower. My questions are, do I need to upgrade the injectors? Do I need to adjust timing on the car. The fuel pressure stock is 36 psi. Do I need to adjust the regulator to 80 psi? This is all for my 89gta.

Re: Help with nos setup
Is the 5176 kit a dry kit? If it is a wet kit, then you don't need bigger injectors. Those injectors are about the same size as stock.
You need a way to pull timing when on the bottle. You can manually retard the timing at the distributer before every time you spray, or you can get an msd ignition box to retard the timing like the 6AL box.
No need to adjust fuel pressure if it is a wet kit.

Re: Help with nos setup
It is a dry system but if I'm going have to upgrade injectors I might as well make it a wet kit.
