The DashPad Factory I posted a couple weeks ago asking if anyone had done business with them, and it received little response. I assume that's because they just started making dashes for our cars. I found them on Facebook. The sales lady, Alannah, had posted in the group for "Third Generation Camaro and Firebird". She was very polite and even offered me a nice discount. The dash pad is produced using the factory metal frame, so when you purchase, you will need to return your old dash pad as a core. Shipping was prompt and Alannah was quick to answer DMs on Facebook and even answered the phone when I called. I never had to leave a message. The installation was as easy as a direct OEM replacement. It fits perfectly, and I have a gauge pod installed on the A pillar that could've interfered. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that they don't drill out the holes for the mounting screws around the defrost vents. That set me back about 7 min :) I highly recommend the product. Re: The DashPad Factory Nice to see we have another alternative. |
Re: The DashPad Factory Looks great! Good to see more repro interior parts that look good.. |
Re: The DashPad Factory Excellent looking product. Glad it’s available. Speakers are well done. |
Re: The DashPad Factory This is a nice option |
Re: The DashPad Factory Did you drill the holes in the vents then? If so, did they crack? The OE holes are countersunk. How do the screws look in the vents? |
Re: The DashPad Factory I didn't drill the holes. They are there, they just covered them with the coating. I used a tiny nail to find the hole and then I threaded the screw in normally. |
Re: The DashPad Factory Good to know. Did they line up well with the original threads on the car? |
Re: The DashPad Factory Mine weren't much trouble, but it did take a few stabs to find. Don't tighten anything until you get them all started. |
Re: The DashPad Factory :thanks: |
Re: The DashPad Factory Looks great! Nice to see a great replacement option like this |

Re: The DashPad Factory How was the pricing? |
Re: The DashPad Factory Expensive, but way better than the reproduction dashes.

Re: The DashPad Factory Looks good, also Hawks has an entire interior screw kit, Nice to have a few spares. The only one I found was not right was the long screw on the sill plate it wasn't as long as the original and wouldn't bite in. |

Re: The DashPad Factory I bought while they were having a sale. It's been a bit, but I think I paid around $300. It's solid, 9 months later and it still looks perfect. |
Re: The DashPad Factory I recently Ordered one of these and will say I was impressed! the look and feel of the new pad was great. Sadly mine was bent in shipping so they are sending another. Very good Product and customer service. |
Re: The DashPad Factory Question for those of you who have these, what do your front corners look like on the underside? I ordered 2 of these for a better deal from the dash pad factory, top side of the dash is above acceptable for a driver level car, I was extremely happy with the finish. unfortunately for me I was unhappy with the finish on the underside front corners. they have a seam and the cuts/trimming are not consistent. one of the two pads the seam comes all the way up to the top side(can be seen without looking under). I asked for replacements and have been patiently waiting for months now(it took 10 months to get the first two, Covid played a part I suppose) was told they are redoing the mold so that the corners are a little more factory finished on the underside. my concern is if its an open seam at the corners it probably wouldn't take but a few years in the sun before edges start lifting and separating. |
Re: The DashPad Factory To the OP if you're watching. Are your seats original? The tweed like material in that color was nowhere to be found when I redid my seats. I'd do them again if that is now available. |
