Sportsman II porting, input?

I just bought a used set of Sportsman II heads that I'll be porting, and I wanted to get input from anyone with experience porting these heads. I'll be using them with a Super Ram that I'm max porting & polishing, and I'm going with an aftermarket intake - still shopping if anyone has one for sale! All of the induction components will be port matched. I have the Comp HR269 cam, 218/224@.050, .528/.536 lift w/1.6 full roller (the heads have springs rated to .600). This cam is similar to the LT4 Hot cam, with faster ramps. 30# injectors. Back to the heads - I'm planning to clean up and gasket match the intake ports, work the short side radii, bowls, polish the chambers, etc. I think the biggest benefit will come from concentrating on the exhaust side and trying to drastically improve the flow. I'm asking for input on what to watch out for, especially in the exhaust port where I plan to make the most aggressive modifications.

Sorry for such a long post, and thanks in advance for your input.
