Centerforce

Does anyone have a centerforce clutch in there car? My cars clutch is gone and I'm going to replace it real soon. I also need info on a good flywheel mines toast. What centerforce should I use the dual friction or the "LMC series"?????::confused:

I've had good results with my DF clutch. It has survived behind my ZZ4 for 35k miles so far in a "hard" daily driven mode. I have heard some people complain about them but it seems to be in conjunction with drag radials/ETs and drag strip abuse.

My centerforce clutch turned my clutch pedal from nice and stiff (like a mustang), to softer than my 1997 civic's pedal. AND YES, it was bleed correctly. I've talked to mustang owners and they've stated that even with a mechanical clutch, their pedals soften up a lot due to the CF pressure plate.

Love mine. It has worked perfect since the install about 2 years ago and the reinstall after the engine swap. I have many 1/4 passes on it combined with about 10-15K miles.

I have had my DF in my z for about two years also, around 4,000 miles so far.I drive this car very hard, and have many launches on full slicks at the track with no problems.I have a mechanical clutch in my car and the pedal is softer than with an OEM clutch.Jut make sure you follow Centerforce's break in instructions that come with the clutch when you buy it and you should be just fine,I recommend it.

I thought mine was the greatiest thing in the world till I got about 4000 miles on it. Now slips between hard shifts and won't disengage when hot hell I got to shut off the engine to get in reverse I am going McLEOD this time !! :(

I'm also running the DF and haven't had any porblems with the clutch itself. I just tore it apart tonight to replace a throwout bearing that crapped out on me. I just got unlucky and got a TO brg that didn't hold up.

I've had the CF Dual Friction in mine for a few months and so far am very happy with it.Very light pedal effort and is holding up to the abuse I'ver given it so far.
Great "street clutch" IMO.
