Re: Good price on Metro weatherstripping sure thing... |
weatherstripping blues Well I'm not to happy so far with Metro stuff... or the rust holes I uncovered in my passenger doors frame. As far as the weatherstripping goes, I've installed one of the window seals so far... and it has a rip in it on the virtical strip where the premolded corner peice is glued to the straight piece. I was going to do both door seals last night, but not only did I find the rust holes , I found that the new door seals are close to 6 inches shorter than the origional seals. I could see that streaching is the name of the game... so I started test fitting. The first pin on the rear of the door is to far from the origional hole with not enough material to streach... I don't like the idea of having to drill holes in my door (it has enough problems as it is  ) to acomodate the pin... Looks like I'll be contacting the seller and or Metro to see what they will do for me. when work and the wife allow. |
Re: Good price on Metro weatherstripping IMHO I was thinking that that might be to good of a deal to fit good. |
