Summit Racing/Innovate LC1-KIT
 

So I needed a wide band oxygen sensor and guage to continue tuning my TPI '88, I knew I wanted the LC-1 from Innovate but the $230+ price listed on their website was too high for my taste. Found this store : http://streetrays.com/store/index.ph...oduct_id=33723

Then went over to Summit Racing which had it listed at $209, called them up, they price matched the product to streetrays for $165, then after the $10 for shipping/handling I ended up getting my kit for overall $176. They even 2-day shipped it, and I'm over 700 miles from their closest distribution center.

Just two thumbs up for Summit, they have always been great to me in the past and this time was no exception - in my experience they are an awesome company with outstanding customer service.

As for the LC-1, just got it today so can't comment, but once I finish welding the bung into my collector I'll see how it works :)

I put hte LC1 in earlier in the year. I would probably shop elsewhere if I was doing it again as the 5 wires were a PITA. I have heard there are others that are easier to wire.

With that said, the LC1 has worked great until I drove over a speed bump and it sliced hte wires on the sensor in half . :doh: Gotta solder those back together...probably for next season.

Well I know this is "vendor" review section, but since I started this thread I feel I should follow up. LC-1 was a PITA to install. I got it all wired to spec, used thicker wire than their lead wires were.. but it works just fine. Got the bung welded into my collector (where both headers meet) so that should average all 8 cylinders. Haven't had a chance to fire it up yet, but the sensor reports correctly and the initialization routines went without a hitch (calibrate sensor to free air, and calibrate sensor in free air while heated). Reports to my gauge just fine, reads absolute lean (21.55 or something) in free air. Can't complain yet, hope it lasts!
