I use them more for my daughters daily driver than my restoration stuff but they're still good people.

The videos are nice, I am more familiar with 4th gens than I am 3rd gens, so little stuff is different. My goal isn't to break stuff trying to get it apart. The third gen seems to have more individual pieces to it versus the later cars. It's actually kind of cool in a weird way.

I've purchased a few times. All OK except one which they didn't cover or help with.

Ordered window sweep pads for thirdgen, and they sent this pack of small felts labeled 1970-81. I contacted them if this was right and would work for 82-92, and they said yes. So I kept them assuming they were correct.

Well, this year the restoration started and I found there is nothing in the doors that looks even close to the 1970-81 pads.

I paid $30 for this pack of tiny pads. Firstly was overpriced for the product, and secondly they did not cover the mistake. Hence, I am not inclined to order any more from 1A.

You have to peel off the old felt and glue the new felt to the existing window guide adjustable bracket..... I was disgusted by the price of little bits of felt and after pondering it for a while realized that the factory had used a much larger bit of felt than actually contacts the window - they wrapped it around and under the bottom of the bracket. I peeled it off, washed and fluffed it, and glued it back on wrapping the flattened, worn bit around the bottom. Presto - new window felt. Works awesome.

They are on ebay too. I bought some headlights for a non-thirdgen car from them recently and had to pay maybe $5 to go with 1aauto instead of some ebay seller from China.

Who knows if the headlight assembly from 1aauto was made in China or elsewhere. For sure at least some of my money was going towards a USA company. Also, if I had trouble with the part, I think 1aauto would have resolved any issues better than a non-US seller on ebay.

Probably one of the best places to get parts, period. I don't know how they keep such unreal prices with these quality parts. I just wish they would stock even more 3rd gen stuff!

Here's a shout out to 1AAuto and how awesome their YouTube videos are. Several weeks ago I bought the entire gray interior to a base 1986 Camaro. It was cheap because it was all still in the car. I've never pulled the interior out of my 1986 Iroc except the shifter plate :lol:

With a lack of knowledge and basic tools, I pulled the entire interior out of the car (sans the dash board and steering column). Anytime I got stuck, I watched the relevant video and got the part out a few minutes later. Saved me a lot of time and headaches, not to mention avoiding breaking some of the pieces.

They are great to deal with ive bought several things from them mainly when I was getting my car together for re-paint, window sweeps and such and they ship fast and have good products.

I bought a T-Top headliner. I kept it wrapped in plastic good as new while other projects were underway. Two years later (!) I went to install it recently and lo and behold it is not the right headliner for the car. Granted it was my mistake that I did not catch their mistake, I really don't think I should take the hit for their mistake though. It was the wrong part day one. It's not like it's a failed alternator that went bad after two years of running. They said they were going to check with their supplier ACME on it, I have not heard back.

I guess I'm screwed, it's a really nice piece, maybe for a Grand National or something, I asked ACME what car it is for so I can send it on to someone who could use it. They did not reply either.

Lesson is you better check it's the right piece and get it taken care of straight away if it's not. A lot of us buy when the deal is sweet and shelf it while other stuff is underway.

I do like the videos but I don't think I will shop with them again.

I bought carpet and some weatherstrip from them and found them to be a great company to do business with. Prices were good too.
