TMI Products: New 3rd Gen Interior Parts
 

This latest venture into 3rd gen restoration was brought to my attention through Motor Trend / Hot Rod.com

It's so hot off the press that TMI's website hasn't yet listed the parts available at the time of this post.
But I'm looking forward to what a dash pad will cost from them.

I was really excited about this, till I saw the front seats were $3200.

Yeah, I'm curious about door panels but pricing/options aren't up yet.

Those seats are a sentimental journey back to whiplash and seat belt crushing your neck and breaking bones.

You could buy a used set of recaros and get them redone fresh for less

My question is how much of their stuff will fit into the firebird. I have an 89 formula, and was thinking of getting everything but the seats, question tho is will it fit ? Also do have a whole center console replacement or just the arm rest lid? I would love to do an all black interior with their products, question tho is fitment. Also are doing all the plastic trim peices and coverings ?

Exploring the site more, I see they have different seat options with headrests.

The Camaro offerings does not show in their vehicle pick list yet but the page does exist if you look hard enough at their site.

I reached out to them yesterday and got a little more information.

"Carpet kit in black loop runs around $550 Dash between $900 and $1,500 . door panels between $850 and $1,300 Armrest cover $255.99 Rear upholstery between $700.and $1500. Arm rest cover for door panel $250 to $350."

All of these options depend on the materials you chose. The dash pad is a fiberglass cover that is upholstered. It comes with speaker grills and vents.

I still don't see any 3rd gen specific page. The drop down menu stops at 1981.

Yeah, that's why I called. I asked if they could send me any rough estimates on pricing and that's what she sent.

I doubt the "3rd gen" seats will be that much different than the "other" seats already offered. Headrest option being one of them.

I'll take these over those anytime and they were 1500 w mounts. 3200 and headrests are an option is crazy.

I am gonna hit them up for door panel options though. They have some interesting stuff on their site for other cars.
