Injector and cam options

I have 92 gta l98. I bought a hsr intake and fuel rail kit. Set of afr 195cc. eliminator heads. the heads springs are good up to .600 hydro roller. I have a 3600 10 in stall converter. The car has a 323 posi. rear. The questions I have is what size injectors do I need to run ? What would be a good cam to run? I like the sound of a big cam( my carb. 89 with 355 has a 565 lift solid roller in it and runs very good it's hard on gas though). I want it to run strong and not be to hard to tune. I am looking for a low 12 sec. car. The rpm range no higher than 6500. Thanks. in advance for any help.

Re: Injector and cam options

You need to finalize your cam choice before you buy injectors.
What ECM will you be using?

Do you know how to tune your EFI on your own? If not, be careful on how big a cam you get.

I had a 400sbc, with a LT1 intake(mini ram)with afr 195's, LT headers, and a 280xfi comp cam. I ran 12.11@111 n/a.
After learning how to burn chips, I know I could have squeaked a couple more tenths out of it. But I spun a main bearing on that engine.

If you have a 350, a 268xfi would probably be a good fit.

If the budget permits, NEVER cam your motor to the ECM. Get the best cam for the combination, not what the ECM will handle. Then get an ECM that best suits the build from there.
