Im such an idiot!!!

So the other night I was washing my car in the driveway and I asked my dad if he had any rim cleaner. So he handed me a bottle of Wesleys Bleech White. So I went ahead and thoroughly sprayed down my wheels and then scrubbed them good with a terry cloth before I rinsed them and the rest of the car off. But the next day I noticed a strange ,scummy looking ,filmy residue all over them. So I took another look at the the bottle of Bleech White, and noticed it wasn't rim cleaner. It was frickin tire and vinyl gloss! So after the sun dried it into the aluminum Formula rims of mine... It wont wash out!!! Any ideas or suggestions anybody?

Well I think its safe to use tire shine on Your tires. But do not spray it on Your rims like I accidentally did!

bleech white is different from tire shine though, bleech white really cleans the tires and makes them look like new, not necessarily shiny. i used it on one of my dad's jeep tires when it got brake fluid all over it. it was the only thing that would work

Just wondering... But what do You run with Your combo? I watched Your video, and damn that thing leaves pretty hard!

ive never taken it to the track, but with 3.73's, an automatic, and TPI it takes off pretty quick. its gonna be a lot better when i get my 383 though :D

yeah bleche wite is great for tire cleaning, especially if you need to get a bunch of grime off from using gel.

Then just re-gel over top of it for the most amazing tire you ever saw :D

Westley's Bleech White ruined the factory rims on my 92 Lumina Z34 I had in high school. It cleaned the tires, but it ate the clear on my rims BAD.

So, I had to strip the clear off and just keep them really clean. Not a big deal. I actually liked the wheels a lot better without the clear on them. Just do a search on this forum, and you can learn how to not only strip the clear off your rims, but how to make them shine like nothing you've ever imagined. :)
