Wow, that's a good angle to take a picture. It looks mean with that lowered stance. Makes me want to take some fresh pictures of mine.

Hey KJ, in the fake picture, where did the exhaust go?!?! LOL

USA-1 08-08-2001 06:56 AM

Is there any advantage to lowering the car? Just wondering.

When I dropped the car I did that on purpose to see if anyone would notice. Good eye...
Instead of moving all the parts I just moved the shell, so basically it covered the exhaust.

USA-1 08-08-2001 01:38 PM

Any reason to respond in such an insulting manor? I'm just asking a simple question. I thought that's what this board was for. I didn't think that looks was an advantage. My mistake.

i didn't find that insulting..lighten up USA-1

USA-1 08-08-2001 03:02 PM

I guess "Duh" is not insulting to you. It's not about "lightning" up. It's about maturity and the lack there of. This is one of the reasons I do not post often. It's frustrating to see people put down or talked down to because of non-experienced type questions or "questionable" modifactions. I apologize but I guess it stems from this whole "rice" issue also. An information board is turning into a "defend" your opinion board. JMO.

Kj Rockz 08-08-2001 03:38 PM

No on is putting you down, it's just a casual way of getting a point across. You need to chill out. If we wanted to demean(AKA put you down) we would. Were not about that, we just like to have fun, right guys. I know you all will back me up on this.

ws6formula89 08-08-2001 04:03 PM

The "smilies" would help letting the person know if you are just playing. So you could say, "Duh! https://www.thirdgen.org/messgboard/tongue.gif" and they won't get offended. Really, I will back you up about having fun with people, but some people just take it too seriously (which is not bad). See, on the internet, you can't tell emotions. So I think the smilies are a great thing to add, if you are joking.

Oh, by the way, nobody commented on my superb photoshop work lowering the IROC... https://www.thirdgen.org/messgboard/tongue.gif

I don't see anything wrong with my lowering technique. I showed other people, and they couldn't tell the difference between the original and my rendition. Please tell me your razzing me....

Lowering your car can significantly increase handling in addition to increasing the look.

Then I apologize. I think you're right on about the smiles thing. My bad. Crazy day and crazier week. Sorry guys. I'd love see some specs on lowering and performance. Anyone know where I can get a write up or something? I love the look but I don't know if I'mm willing to do that if it degrades performance.
