black crosslace wheels
 

how rare exactly are the black crosslace wheels? i have them on my car but i have never seen another set EVER. i have seen a gold set that were painted and refinished to look like a set of factory black ones but not another real set. the gold ones are very common around here. i have seen at least 4 sets of the gold. is there any way to find out how many original sets were made?:huh:

i don't know but i had 2 T/A's with the black crosslaces....bothe cars were black in color

i guess its just something thats not very common. i love those wheels. I have had 4 or 5 people that have asked me if i would sell them but i never will.

Black crosslaces aren't that uncommon. They actually made them in gold, white, black, and red. Maybe another couple colors. Basically if you ordered the PW7 wheel option on a Trans Am that was black you got black crosslace rims. I think red was also came with black in some years, but I am not certain on that.

Are you talking about the plain cross lace wheels or the deeper GTA wheels?

yes i believe your right. my car is red and came with the black wheels. i didnt know that they made them in red and white. Thats really cool, i learn something new every day :)

i have an 89 gta with the stock black crosslaces, but haven't seen anymore in my area. i have seen a couple of gold sets.

GTAs only came with Gold wheels, so yours are not stock :)
