Favorite non domestic vehicle

Its exactly what the title says, i am curious as to what other memebers would drive if they had to pick a foreign car. For me ive always loved the look of the nissian gt-r's, and if i could afford one i would probably snatch one up

A Lotus Esprit, with a V8. As long as it's left hand drive, I'd love to own one.

An early 90s Nissan 300zx, I need to have T tops lol. I think they are good looking cars, I wouldn't r i c e it out. One of the things I don't like is that most of the 300zx's I see have ugly gfx kits and crappy aftermarket hoods and fart cans. In stock form I think they look cool.

RX7 R1, no doubt. In black. No mods, except under the hood. Those FDs are just beautiful in every way, except the lack of torque. The sexy rounded bodywork, the 225/50 tires on the 16x8 wheels, the short front overhang, the 1g cornering...
But I've never tried an R34 skyline GTR. Those have lots of appeal, too. The looks, the performance, they fit wide tires, getting them to 638 HP is no real challenge, and so on.
Or maybe the final Countach? Only with an engine swap. Such a sinister car. The flares, the 345/35R15 Pirellis...

For me the Camaro is a foreign car :lmao:

If I would have to pick a non-US vehicle, FC3S RX7 GTUs.
I had one before I purchased the Camaro and I was actually looking for a replacement RX7 at the time.

It is however extremely difficult to find a good one. Very few of those around, and fewer still that are being sold.

Another valid alternative would be a Porsche 944. The only thing holding me back there is that due to the nametag, those VW/Audi spare part carriers are way overpriced.

my favorite cars regardless of price (in no particular order);

1980s irocs, T/As, vettes, etc
vector w8
lamborghini countach

so the countach would be my import of choice

a lot of guys are into the old boxy muscle cars from the 60s and a lot of guys are into modern ultra rounded european supercars but for me the holy grail was the sharp edges/science fiction look of 1980s sports cars

Ferrari F430 Spider in blue with tan leather and red caliper paint, please.

I would also like a Porsche Cayman S in blue turquoise and black leather.

Of the cars I can actually afford, an Infiniti G35 Coupe painted Lamborghini metallic yellow with black leather. I also have a love affair with the Volkswagon Eos for some odd reason. Blue with beige leather. You just never see them, so they are different. Way too expensive, though.

Ah I forgot the G37 coupe. I test drove an '05 G35 coupe a few years ago, was nice, if a bit bland. Still wouldn't mind one though.

The only cars I like that aren't American cars:

- 1993-2002 Toyota Supra (that isn't riced out)

https://i.imgur.com/NEZ2S.jpg

- Lamborghini Countach

https://i.imgur.com/YClhg.jpg

I would never own one of these cars, but I think they look cool.

A car that we would drive if it wasnt a domestic? Are we talking dream cars or actual cars we could afford and own? I see lambo's/ferrari/etc posted here....not realistic but I love those cars.

I want to say Toyota supra if I didnt have a domestic V8 but those arent cheap cars either. Other would be FD RX7 but domestic motor.... Or perhaps a RB26 swapped S15 Silvia.... It would have to be RWD

This is probably goin to be locked as its not thirdgen related

the fab is easy its finding the time and money to do it.. i also have the 6spd get-rag.. dont know if i have to modify the firewall or anything... of course im not gonna do it my own. gonna let a reputable shop do it.. thats just to much work for me.. especially wiring

Rotary engine = best engines ever! id never swap it out for a domestic :) id swap it for a 20B or a 4 rotor HAHA

Expensive to get them reliable from what i hear..especially when pushing high power numbers. its easier to go LS1 with heads/cam and make 500hp than to turbo the 1.3L :) Just my opinion... we got a few local guys doing single turbo LSx motors in FD rx7's. Talk about a scary ride.

yes that is true, in a drag race id go with the lsx power. but in terms of road racing id take the high reving 13b :D (finding a rotary guy in my area is not a problem.. i have one that lives with me lolz)

i was looking into a FD RX7 as well since my mom had the early model Turbo II FC
