painting brakes components

Hey All,

What kind of paint would be used for brake components?

How about powder coating??

Thanks

Paul

no one answered your question? weird. Duplicolor, vht all sell caliper paint. aerosol or brush on. you can use it on the rotors, and drums, calipers etc.

powder coating's great if you completely disassemble everthing and have the money. paint's not quite as nice, but a good inexpensive alternative.

i've had great luck with the brush on duplicolor kits when doing calipers. been meaning to try the spray on vht stuff as well. any high temp will work on rotor hats, engine paints are usually pretty cheap and readily available. drums i would leave to a "cast" engine paint; keep them looking like metal without making them stand out too much.
