Since each COTM winner is determined by the end of the previous month, then the December COTM will be awarded in November, giving us 12 COTM winners to compete for COTY, which can be determined by the end of December. Also during December the normal COTM poll for January can still take place. So determine the 12th COTM by the end of November, and then have two polls in December: one for January COTM and one for COTY. |
Re: Car of the Month or Car of the Year in December? i can see how something like that could possibly work. at first it seemed very confusing and the idea of two competitions running simultaneously sounds unworkable, but hmm... perhaps. thanks for that input and for thinking up ways to create more work for me... |

Also figure out a way to get the COTM to get a daily bump or to be at the top of all the new threads/posts. I think COTM thread gets lost and that has to do with the low voter turnout. Personally, I think voter turnout has been pretty sorry. Especially with the amount of active members on here. And Linson, keep up the great job with COTM! KUDO'S TO YOU! :goodjob: |

Re: Car of the Month or Car of the Year in December? I am in agreement with all of the above. Do both cotm and coty. Make a link on main page and sticky on this page. Would also love to see a calendar of them. Thats a lot of work so we might need to get some help for poor linson heh. |
