Congratulations, 427seven! Your '89 GTA is beyond words, and our March 2019 COTM Winner.
I've seen some very nice and very bad *** Camaros and Firebirds on Thirdgen.org and in our Car of the Month contests. I do not exaggerate when I observe that this is probably the baddest GTA I've seen anywhere in my lifetime.

This is a 1989 Pontiac Firebird GTA. I've owned various versions of these cars since they became available in 82, and I love them, both the Camaro and the Firebird. My brothers always had Camaros, and since I started it all in 77 with a Trans Am I continued that line. This could get long because it was loads of work so I think I'd best just list the features of the car.
-Motown Aluminum 427, AFR heads, with miniram modified for the heads, CC custom grind camshaft, 1.6 CC rockers, custom stainless headers with 2” primaries and a full 3” stainless exhaust through Super 40 3” mufflers.-Turbo 400 with Gear Vendors OD, modified stock aluminum DS-Aluminum Dana 44 Independent Rear, Richmond Gears 3.75:1, Aldan Eagle DA coilovers-Modified front suspension with Firestone airbags, Tokico SA struts, BellTech 2” drop spindles-Simmons Racing 3pce wheels, Titanium fasteners, 10.5X18 front, 12.5X18 rear, custom hubs, Wilwood Spec 37 GT-72 14” Rotors front and rear, Brembo monoblock GT6 front and GT4 rear calipers, Hoosier R3S03, 275 35 X 18 front, 335 30X18 rear.-Interior is stock with modified Corbeau seats, 5 point harnesses, Roll cage is integrated with the unit body front and rear. The car is featured in a thread I started a couple of weeks ago, much more comprehensive than what I have room for here, “A Firebird GTA the way they should have built it… if you want to see some more.I really hope you like it, trust me, it was a Labour of LOVE….

RE: this has to be the fastest anyone has gone from new member to COTM. Congrats.

Thank you all very much. Even though it's only been a few weeks here, I feel at home. I have been working on these cars for so long, and I found another group of people who are also just like that. It's not like I'm a new member at all. After you do this for so long you get to know what these cars need and deserve. You all know that too. It is an honor to have you all appreciate the car. It's not over for me, I'll be doing this for a lifetime, we're here because we think a lot of these cars, they have a following because they really are a great car. There is still lots to be done, always want little changes here and there. And now a place to share. Thank you again.

I really do appreciate all the warm comments. I have to say, when I read QwkTrip's comment, I really felt like I had, at least to some extent, succeeded in doing what I originally intended with the car. For all the do it yourselfers....

This GTA is truly one amazing machine and will serve as a template on how I would like to build my GTA.

Whoa. Inspirational stuff. Extremely clean build, I wish I had your talent and resources!

A detail question: how are the Corbeau seats modified?
