HPP does 3rd gen fixes!

There is a story in Oct 2002 High Performance Pontiac, now on newsstands, on how to fix the Pulldown latch assemblys, fix the Firebird headlight motors, and cooling problem fixes.

Nov High Perf Pontiac (on sale 8/20) has a story on removing and reupholstering your headliner.

Dec High Perf Pontiac (9/24) has a story on repairing the saggy door hinges.

No kidding! So that magazine is useful, after all? Maybe I'll actually buy a copy. Thanks! Wait, October is on the newsstands? Isn't that a bit early? Wow.

HPP maybe useful after all...

Tom:

Never mind the cover dates, all the companies do that, and it makes no sense to normal people. I sure there is some explanation, somewhere...

As far as High Performance Pontiac being useful, here's a tip. If you guys want to see more 3rd gen editorial (yes, I own a Camaro, but they're the same under the skin), write the editor an email or a letter, telling him that you like it, but you want to see them do ----- (fill in the blanks)

If he gets a handfull of letters requesting, say, to dyno before and after some trick exhaust system to see what it really does, there is a reasonable chance we will see it happen. Ask for whatever you are interested in. There is no guarantee that if you ask for it, it will happen, but I guarantee if you don't ask for it, it will not happen. How do you think these stories got there to begin with?

Good luck
