It will fit 85+ firebirds.
It won't fit an 82 since they have that "Camaro" style console.

Well, you can use a 97+ console, but you have to do some cutting to your stock console since your heater/radio pod is part of your console. You can put an 85+ Firebird pod in your car to hold the heater and radio and then put the 97+ conosole in your car.

ya it could work there is someone on the board who did it to a pre 85 do a seach he had some pics of what it looked like done. not to bad if u ask me, i might be doing this next month, the pre 85 center consel is just NASTY looken, so boxey and old looken. i had one girl who ask me if i made it my self:rolleyes:
