Restore or not Restore

Okay guys, I had a 1988 IROC-Z 305 TBI hard top in MINT condition. NOTHING was wrong with this car, drove, looked, felt like a dream. I sold it . But i sold it for $3500 and then I bought another 1988 IROC-z but this time it was a 350 and a T-top for $1900. The 305 paied off both loans. But the 350 needs re be restored. So far I have bought 91-92 GFX's $400, Grant steering wheel $125, Flowmaster+Cat+Pipes+labor $425 , Headmen Headers+Installed $625?, both front fenders new $220, new dash $25, Speedometer fixed $150, K&N $50 , rear hatch struts $80. I still have alot to do to make it the way I want it. Is this worth doing? Or should I just put it together and sell it?

Not to be nit -pickey but all of that stuff you mention is not really "restoring". I would say restifying or upgrading. Restoring usually means bringing back to original condition.

LOL im not really restoreing this car? Lets put it this way, there isnt a body panel left that doesnt have rust on it, both front fenders are barely holding onto the GFX's, the right side fender is bowed, the moran who had it before smoked and ruined the entire interior. I'm workin as fast as my wallet wil llet me . I just dont wana drive around with miss matching body parts. And plus if somebody hit me with my new parts on, I would have to start all over again. Im getting there im getting there lol.:D
I'm still debating on what hood to get, SS, Big Block, or that Trans Am type hood.

Ah I also forgot. I'm in Des Moines for those who wanted to know.

maybe not a complete restore... but a nice clean ride w/o rust, nice looking interior, nice looking exterior... and an engine that gets you from point a to point b without worrying about it breaking down on the way there... that is ideal :)
