Where do I wire the clips into?Anyone have a pic or sugesstion what the clips would fit into? A dimmer, headlight switch?

Not directly. The EL gauges should come with their own controller that those wires plug into. The controller itself you can just power from an interior light source.

i have three clips attached to the wires and no where to plug them in. there is a on off switch with a s similar clip.

You sure that you got all the parts? I thought those EL sheets needed very high voltage to function, which would require a separate controller with a transformer in it, which is what I've usually seen accompany those sets.

yes they should plug into a box i have guages very similar to those and they do need higher voltage but do not connect them directly without that box and then wire the box up just like anything else power ground and thats about it bu t make sure you have all the parts

all i have is the three guages with the plugs...

I have a on off switch with 1 plug and thats all.

it didnt come with any directions or anything. I have been reading up on it all day up but no ideas yet

NEVRMIND IM AN IDOT! Forgot to take the inverter out of the freakin package.

I got it all hooked up. Except where would be a good place to run the power /ground to? Do I need to buy a special conector to splice it in. \

Thanks so much for your help...You guys and this site are so awesome!

Power it from any wire that is hot when your park lights are on. I think this will be the brown wire coming out of the headlight switch. You can also get the brown wire behind the radio.

I wired it into the fuse box (Taillights)...Seems ok so far. Thanks so much for all your help.
