Berlinetta Body Parts on a Z28
 

I think I know the answer to this, but want some confirmation from you folks. I'm going to pick up a Berlinetta hood, fender, and driver's side door for my Z28 which desperately needs these parts. I got all three parts for only $210 from a junkyard and they are rust free. My questions is will they fit exactly as my parts? I know the hood will not have the louvers, but I'm don't care about that particular detail. Thanks!

It will all bolt on yes, only thing you really have to pay attention to is gfx, or badges, and even then it will still bolt on. One other thing though is that at some point in the production generation the crease on the fenders got smoothed out to be less angular/edgy, I think they might have done this with the doors too, though am only certain about the fenders, the casual observer won't notice though unless you point it out to them.

Thanks, I'm hoping since they are both 84's everything will look the same.

as far as ground effects go, the berlinetta doesnt have the mounting holes on doors or fenders for them. so you will have to drill new holes or go with the smooth berlinetta look. the bumpers are totaly differant "style" but will bolt right up. just have to figure out if you want z28 gfx or not
