Camaro/firebird bumper supports compatible?

I've been searching using various terms, but I haven't found an answer to exactly what I want to know.

Are the bumper supports from Camaros and Firebirds the same assuming they are the same style? What I mean is, 85 and up. I'm not interested in fitting an early aluminum style to a later year.

I am replacing fenders/bumper/chin spoiler on my car, and discovered that one side of my bumper support is pretty twisted. Its pushed in and up about 3". I tried bending it back, but the steel is stretched. I have an 88 Trans Am body, would the bumper support itself work on my 86 Z28? I understand that the honeycomb panel would have to be swapped if so.

One of the most notable differences being the front ends of these cars. I learned that they would not swap, and had to purchase a Camaro bumper support locally.
