Pics Needed of Ram Air II Hood on Firebird Hey guys trying to decide on a hood to go with. Im pretty much leaning toward the Ram Air II but was wondering if anyone can post a few pics of it on a firebird. Ultra Blue or on a Vert would be a plus. Thanks |

It doesn't fit (line up) that great, but I bought it from an individual at a good price so can't complain. If you have the ability get it from a good source. Other then that its a great hood! |

Heres it on my TA. I love this hood, changed the car completely. Attachment 259024 Attachment 259025 Attachment 259026 The only thing I don't like is mine isn't the best quality. Re: Pics Needed of Ram Air II Hood on Firebird It could use a hood spring like stock, because it is picky on how it opens. Mine anyways, but most fiberglass hoods are like that since there isn't a provision for the spring. It still opens with the latch and everything like stock though. I just plan on getting the pins, but that's just me. |

Re: Pics Needed of Ram Air II Hood on Firebird Well everyone views them differently, I personally think they look good when done right. Plus you can get locking ones, which then means you can completely remove the stock latch without worrying about getting your hood opened by someone unwanted. |

Re: Pics Needed of Ram Air II Hood on Firebird car looks real good like that, but that looks like the 94-97 ram air hood made for your car. i was looking at getting one for mine like that but didnt think it would look all that great, but seeing it on yours looks like i was wrong |

Re: Pics Needed of Ram Air II Hood on Firebird IMHO the Ram Air I hood looks best on the pre-91 Firebirds. It lines up with the body lines much better than the Ram Air II hood. At certain angles, the Ram Air II hood doesn't look right on the car, but on the 91-92 bodies it looks spectacular. I have a Ram Air I hood on my car and the only complaint I have is that it isn't functional. It could be made functional, but it would take some work whereas the Ram Air II hood is made functional easily. It all depends on what you're looking for, aesthetics or functionality along with how much money you are willing to spend. |
