Sideskirt removal

How exactly do the sideskirts come off?

On my driver side the metal bracket has popped out of the skirt. I cannot for the life of me get the bracket off the car. Is it bolted on somehow or just clips on there? I tried to pop it off since I can't seem to figure out how to get behind it for a bolt or a nut but it starts to want to bend and I do not want to damage it.

91 RS 5.0 Tbi.

Here's some pics. I picked it up about a month ago for my wife for a grand with a dying motor and dropped in a motor with only 38k on it.

Is there like a new guy section or introduction section? I wanted to post there first but could not find one.

For the front, you must remove the inner splash shield and remove the nuts holding the front.

For the rear, you must remove the rear seat and interior trim panel. There are nuts inside a cavity in the quarter panel that must be removed.

The obvious is to remove the screws along the step plate and bolts along the underside along the rocker panel.

Cool thanks. I didn't want to start tearing into it blindly. I'm thinking I can get the metal bracket off from the rear and pop it back into the actual skirt and bolt it back on without removing the whole skirt.

I think you'll have to completely remove the skirt.

I'll get a pic of what I'm working with tonight, you'd never know it if it wasn't for the odd front bumper but 2 owners before me parked it in a ditch :-/

I've been friends with the cars past 3 owners and knew it's history pretty well. It's got a ton of stuff fixed and upgraded from the previous owner like 4th gen seats and all new suspension and full header back exhaust and rear end swap. So I couldn't let it pass knowing how easy it was to grab a 305 locally for the price he was asking.

Here is what I'm dealing with, I'm thinking if I can unbolt the metal bracket I can pop it back into the plastic skirt and bolt it back on.
